Information we collect.

Our contact and special-request forms may collect your name, mobile number, optional email address, city, ZIP code, contact preference, requested products, quantities, sizes, fulfillment preference, desired date, animal or feeder information, recurring-order details, and any notes you choose to provide. Basic technical information may also be processed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

When online ordering is enabled, we also collect the products and variations ordered, quantities, customer name, email and phone number, order notes, policy acceptance, order history, payment method, transaction identifiers, payment and fulfillment status, and relevant timestamps. For Zelle or cash orders, we record the amount received and the owner's confirmation of receipt. Card-payment fields are handled by Stripe. Cold Blooded Cuisine does not receive or store complete card numbers or card security codes.

How we use information.

We use the information to review and respond to requests, confirm availability, process and prepare orders when checkout is enabled, verify manually collected payments, arrange pickup or any separately approved delivery, maintain customer and order records, prevent spam or abuse, send transactional confirmations and status updates, notify the owner about new requests and orders, resolve problems, and operate or improve the website. We use protected matching values derived from order email addresses and phone numbers to limit repeated unpaid inventory reservations.

Submitting a contact or special-request form is not a purchase. Those forms remain separate from online checkout orders, including Zelle orders awaiting verification and cash orders due at pickup.

Service providers and embedded content.

We use service providers to host the website and database and to deliver transactional email notifications. For enabled card checkout, Stripe securely handles the payment interface and processes the transaction. Zelle payments are sent through your bank's service and are manually verified by Cold Blooded Cuisine; they are not processed by Stripe. We do not request or store your bank login credentials. These providers process information to provide their services. The homepage also includes an official Facebook Page Plugin. When it loads, Meta may receive information about your browser or visit under Meta's own privacy terms. You can use the direct Facebook link instead if you prefer not to interact with the embedded feed.

Transactional text-message updates may be offered later if that service is configured and the customer provides the required consent. We do not use transactional order contact information as permission for unrelated marketing.

Web Push is offered only inside the private administrator area. Customer form submissions do not subscribe customers to push notifications.

Sharing, retention, and security.

We do not sell customer personal information. We share it only with service providers supporting the website and communications, when you direct us to, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, or investigate misuse.

We retain request, order, transaction-reference, and communication records for as long as reasonably necessary to manage customer service, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and questions.

You may ask us to correct or delete information you submitted, subject to transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and other records we must retain for legitimate business or legal reasons. Use the contact form or text 219-816-2011 with a privacy question. Do not send card numbers, card security codes, bank login credentials, passwords, medical information, or other sensitive information through the contact, special-request, or order-notes fields.

We may update this notice as the website or its services change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
